New York City is teaming with life.  Its unrehearsed drama unfolds on the streets below the city’s impressive skyline and is easy to overlook.  In my NYC photos, I’ve tried to capture a glimpse of that drama, featuring “ordinary” people busy making their way amidst the complexity of modern, urban living in one of the world’s greatest cities. In the right light, with a positive frame of mind, one can see a nobility in their efforts.  All images are candid shots.
